CumbyArchitecture pursues a comprehensive design approach from conceptualization through technical execution, with careful attention given to the unique character of each project, site, and client. The desire for an efficient, responsible use of space and material resources informs this design process from simple, small scale solutions to more complex large scale projects. Present in all projects is a great interest in the sensory experience of buildings and their interaction with the built and natural environment.

David Cumby is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. His diverse professional background includes consulting work with engineering and landscape design firms as well as several years of architectural work focused on educational buildings and large scale multi-unit housing. He is a licensed Architect in the State of California.
